[Verse 1]

Because all of your hope is gone

And your life is filled with much confusion
      Abm Ebm7 Db
Until happiness is just an illusion
              Abm Ebm7 Db
And your world around is crumbling down,
darlin'

I'll be there with a love that will see you through

[Verse 2]
              Abm Ebm7 Db
When you feel lost and about to give up

'Cause your best just ain't good enough
             Abm Ebm7 Db
And you feel the world has grown cold
           Abm Ebm7 Db

[Verse 3]
      Abm Ebm7 Db
I can tell the way you hang your head
                  Abm
You're not in love now,
Ebm7 Db
now you're afraid
                 Abm Ebm7 Db
And through your tears you look a___round
              Abm Ebm7 Db
But there's no peace of mind to be found
                           Abm
I know what you're thinking you're a loner,
Ebm7 Db
    no love of your own
But darlin'
