The Fathers House

[Intro]
Am7 G C/E F

[Verse 1]
Am7 G
Sometimes on this journey,
      F C
I get lost in my mistakes
     Am7 G F
What looks to me like weakness is a canvas for Your
C
strength
       Am7 G
And my story isn't over,
   F C
my story's just begun
    Am7 G F
And failure won't define me 'cause that's what my Father
C
does
Yeah,
Am7 G F C
failure won't define me 'cause that's what my Father does

[Chorus]
    Am7 G F C
Ooh, lay your burdens down
    Am7 G F C
Ooh, here in the Father's house
                Am7 G
Check your shame at the door
                   F C
'Cause it ain't welcome anymore
    Am7 G F C
Ooh, you're in the Father's house

[Interlude]
Am7 G C/E F

[Verse 2]
Am7 G
Arrival's not the end game,
    F C
the journey's where You are
    Am7 G
You never wanted perfect,
         F C
You just wanted my heart
        Am7 G
And the story isn't over,
       F C
if the story isn't good
  Am7 G F C
A failure's never final when the Father is in the room
    Am7 G F C
And failure's never final when the Father is in the room

[Chorus]
    Am7 G F C
Ooh, lay your burdens down
    Am7 G F C
Ooh, here in the Father's house
                Am7 G
Check your shame at the door
                   F C
'Cause it ain't welcome anymore
    Am7 G F C
Ooh, you're in the Father's house
