| D#5 G#5 | D#5 G#5 |

[Verse 1]
D#5 G#5
Mama always told me, "Be a man"
                     D#5 G#5
That I should get my shit together for real while I can
Like yeah, whatever
D#5 G#5
I said "Mama, you don't understand"
                     D#5 G#5
Cause I'm gon' be stupid famous and rocking in a band
Yeah, you know
D#5 G#5
Couple years later, here I am
                   D#5
I'm living the big city life,
                  G#5
just doing what I can
                  D#5
To get by waiting tables, yeah,
                    G#5
I'm working for the man
And you know
D#5
   Lately,
it's starting to feel awful like
                  D#5 G#5
I'm always on the back foot

[Chorus]
D#5 G#5 D#5
Yeah, I'm always on the back foot,
G#5
   yeah
D#5 G#5 D#5 G#5
I'm always on the, woo Yeah
D#5 G#5 D#5

[Verse 2]
D#5 G#5
Everybody says that I'm a slob
                    D#5
That I'm a waste of space and super lazy,
      G#5
oh my god
Like yeah, whatever
D#5 G#5
I'll be right here, sleeping on the job
                     D#5 G#5
Getting paid sixheighty to wait on tables of rich ladies
and their dogs
D#5 G#5
I wish that I had more than I got
                D#5 G#5
I wish I was on Conan and was rollin' at the top
               D#5 G#5
I wish I was a billionaire and balling like The Rock
But you know
